Do you sell to my country?

Yes, most likely!

We have distributors in the following countries:

China: Biohub International Trade Co. Ltd (http://www.qfbio.com/)
Czech Republic: Sven Biolabs (https://svenbiolabs.cz/)
Slovak Republic: Sven Biolabs (https://svenbiolabs.cz/)

If your country is not included in the list, we ship worldwide from Sweden. To inquire about shipping to your country, please contact us.

How will you ship my order?

As part of your order, you can decide when and how you want your products delivered to you. We generally use FedEx or UPS for international shipments. Normally we can ship your order right away. However, if your order is placed on Thursday or Friday and includes articles that require cold storage, we prefer to delay shipping until Monday to avoid the risk of the package getting stuck over the weekend. When you place the order, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow your shipment. In the case of delays, or if you have any other questions, contact us at info@cytodelics.com.

Can I change the delivery details?

In general, you can change the delivery address or shipment date up until the point that your package has been handed over to the courier. Contact us at info@cytodelics.com to change anything related to the shipping of your order.

How much do you charge for shipping?

The shipping costs will vary slightly depending on your location and the size of your order. When you place your order, we will provide you with an estimate. The final cost of shipping and handling is always prepaid and will be charged to your invoice.

What are your payment terms?

Our payment terms are generally 30 days, but this may vary.

How can I receive a copy of my invoice?

An invoice for your order will be sent to you via email soon after your order has been placed. If you need another copy, you can contact us at info@cytodelics.com and request one.

Blood collection
How much blood should I collect?

The optimal sample volume and the number of samples to collect depend on your application and expectations. It is possible to extract cells from less than 25 µL of blood preserved with our Cytodelics Whole Blood Cell Stabilizer. If you want to preserve more than 2 mL of blood from a single sample, we recommend distributing it in multiple cryovials.

What anticoagulant should I use?

The Cytodelics Stabilizer and the Cytodelics Whole Blood Fix/Lyse kit are compatible with most anticoagulants, including EDTA, citrate, and Heparin. For blood stimulation using our WB-STIM buffer, we recommend blood collection in Heparin-coated tubes, as EDTA might interfere in cell signaling processes.

Product stability
How should Cytodelics products be stored?

Information about the recommended storage conditions can be found in the documentation associated with each product, which is available on each product page. The recommended storage conditions and relevant safety information is also printed on each bottle.

For how long can Cytodelics products be stored?

The shelf-life of Cytodelics products and their components vary. General storage information can be found in the documentation available on each product page. An expiration date is also printed on each bottle.

The product I bought has expired. Can I still use it?

We do not recommend using products after the expiration date printed on the bottle. If you have a specific bottle that needs to be replaced, you can contact us at info@cytodelics.com.

Compatibility and applications
Is Cytodelics product X compatible with technology Y?

Our products are generally designed to be used in conjunction with single-cell proteomics technologies like flow- and mass cytometry. If you have a question related to a specific technological application, please get in touch with us at info@cytodelics.com. We always recommend that you verify whether our products work with your particular technology of interest before you begin large-scale sample collection.

Can I use the Cytodelics products for other sample types than blood?

Yes, in some cases. We have evaluated Cytodelics products for sample types like bone marrow and mouse splenocytes, for example. If you're interested in using our products for other sample types like blood, please get in touch with us here for further guidance.

Can I use the Cytodelics for non-human research?

Yes, you can. We have a Cytodelics Stabilizer specifically for preserving mouse and rat blood. In addition, customers have confirmed that it works well for sampling blood in non-human primates. If you’re working with another model organism, please get in touch with us at info@cytodelics.com for additional guidance.

Can Cytodelics products be used to preserve purified cells or cell lines?

Yes, our PBMC fixation kit is optimized to preserve PBMCs that are isolated from whole blood through density gradient centrifugation. It can also be used to fix other purified cell types and most cell lines.

Do the Cytodelics Stabilizer and Whole Blood Fix/Lyse preserve RNA? Can we sequence RNA in single cells or in bulk from samples collected with Cytodelics products?

These Cytodelics products are primarily designed to preserve proteins. While some RNA integrity is retained, the preserved samples are not compatible with later RNA analysis through PCR, for example. However, we’re currently working on products for the preservation of RNA as well, so stay tuned!
